Description
Malai kofta is a popular Indian dish made with fried potato and paneer (Indian cottage cheese) balls in a rich and creamy tomato-based gravy. It is a vegetarian dish that is often served with rice or naan bread.
The name “malai kofta” literally translates to “creamy balls.” The koftas are made with a mixture of grated potato, paneer, spices, and herbs. They are then deep-fried until golden brown. The gravy is made with tomatoes, onions, cashews, and a variety of spices. The koftas are then added to the gravy and simmered until they are heated through.
