Dalia Split is made by splitting skinless chickpea or kabuli chana into half. The roasted Dalia is prepared by dry roasting these split chickpeas to give it a deeper texture and taste. Roasted dalia is usually used a thickening agent for soups and chutneys in India and its also a very commonly used snack. Split Dalia is a very common ingredient of South Indian recipes.
