Nannari syrup is very famous in India especially in Kerala Malabar area where it is used to make Sharbat – a sweet drink. I was looking for Nannari in the US but couldn’t find until it appeared here. We tried this one and found out it’s very similar to the one you get in India taste wise.
Making of Sharbat with Nannari is very simple. To make a glass/cup of Nannari Sharbat in its simplest way;
1) Add two spoons of Nannari syrup,
2) Squeeze little bit of lemon, and
3) Mix either cold water or club soda (unflavored sparkling water) and stir well
And a delicious drink is ready which is so refreshing especially in summer!
