Description
Palappam, also sometimes referred to as aappam, is a type of thin pancake originating from the South Indian state of Kerala . It’s very similar to another South Indian dish called appam, but with a key difference. Similar to appam, palappam is made with fermented rice batter and coconut milk. The key difference is that palappam batter also includes grated coconut which gives it a slightly different texture and flavor.
