Description

Red Pearl onions are small in size, typically with a diameter between quarter of an inch to an inch and half. They are bulbous in shape with slightly pointed ends, resembling their bigger variation of red onion. These are almost the same as the shallots used in Kerala cuisine and known as Chuvannulli (ചുവന്നുള്ളി) or cheriyulli\kunjulli (ചെറിയുള്ളി\കുഞ്ഞുള്ളി).
