Garam masala is a blend of ground spices, originating from South Asia, common in Indian, Pakistani, Nepalese, Bangladeshi, Sri Lankan and Afghan cuisines. Typical content of Garam Masala mix contain Cumin, Coriander, Green and Black Cardamom, Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Cloves, Bay leaves, Peppercorns, Fennel and Mace. They are roasted together and then ground to fine powder to form Garam Masala Powder.
