Description
The shallot is a variety of the onion but smaller in size. In taste, Shallots are similar to onions. Shallots have a higher amount of fiber and are rich in vitamin B6 and C. They also have a high concentration of several other minerals like manganese and copper and rich in folate. Onions have a lower calorie content compared to Shallots but shallots have a higher content of several vitamins and minerals.
