Kanthari Chili is a hot chili pepper commonly found in the southeast Asian countries. They also go by the name of Thai chili or Bird’s eye chili. Kanthari chili is how they are known in the state of Kerala, India. Its moderate to extremely hot and are commonly used for making chutneys or chammanthis as a form of side dish in Kerala.
Kanthari Mango chutney is crushed chutney mix of green mango and kanthari chili which is commonly used as a side dish in Kerala cuisine. This goes very well with steam cooked Tapioca.
