Dried Salted Chilly is a South Indian delicacy that is a common side dish. It also goes by the name of Mor Mulagu, curd chilies or Kondattam. They are essentially chilies dipped and marinated in curd and salt mix and sun dried. They are deep fried in oil and served with curd rise and other south Indian meals. They are hot and salty and goes very well with curd rice. This is a very commonly used alternative for pickles.
