They are made from 100% natural sugarcane grown in the Western Ghats, known for its rich volcanic soil. Marayoor Jaggery is traditionally prepared by the Muthuvan tribe using age-old techniques involving boiling and filtering sugarcane juice. Marayoor Jaggery has a dark brown color with a patch of golden flakes and possesses a refreshing sugarcane aroma. They also boasts a complex, slightly sweet and earthy taste.
