Description
King Fish or King Mackerel is very meaty and can be a good alternative for Tuna or Salmon. King Fish is an ocean fish and close relative of the Spanish Mackerel. The meat has a lot of fat content, making it pale colored. The King Fish meat has a high content of protein and Omega 3. The steaks are well suited for grilling or deep frying.
Frozen IQF (Individually Quick Frozen) and individually vacuum sealed King Fish steaks. Each piece weights 10 to 12 oz which is approximately 0.6 to 0.75 lb or 8-10 oz which is approximately 0.5 to 0.6 lb.
