Description
Broken matta rice is the irregular shaped rice kernels produced by crushing the regular matta rice kernels. Typically they are the size of one-fourth or one-third of the regular matta rice kernel. These rice are used for making porridge (പൊടിയരി കഞ്ഞി) or kheer\payasam (പായസം).
